AGC of Michigan serves the construction professionals of Michigan by fostering and strengthening the key values of skill, integrity and responsibility of those who build Michigan.
The AGC has a strong legacy of skill, integrity and responsibility in supporting Michigan’s construction industry. AGC contractors deliver high-quality services on time and on budget to state and local governments, major manufacturers and universities and private commercial construction owners. We pride ourselves on the near century of service the association has provided leading contractors in support of their efforts to build a better Michigan.
That’s why we undertook an extensive audit process to gain feedback from our members, as well as the general public, about their perception of AGC and how we can position ourselves for long-term success.
We are proud to announce the AGC of Michigan’s new brand. While the strength of our services and network will remain the same, we hope that a modern, forward-thinking brand will help change perceptions, strengthen outreach and membership and solidify AGC as the association of choice for those associated with Michigan’s construction industry.
We look forward to partnering with you to make these goals a reality to fortify our organization – its services, history and reputation – now and in the years to come.
The AGC of Michigan is a full service construction trade association providing services to Michigan's leading general contractors, construction managers, specialty contractors and related construction industry companies. A diverse group of Michigan's leading constructors and industry-related firms make the AGC of Michigan the organization of choice for those associated with the construction industry.
In 2007, the Michigan Chapter AGC (founded in 1927) and the AGC, Greater Detroit Chapter (founded in 1916) merged to become the AGC of Michigan. The statewide organization now represents more than 400 members promoting the AGC values of skill, integrity and responsibility.
AGC of Michigan is a proud chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America. AGC of America represents more than 32,000 firms, organized into approximately 100 chapters throughout the fifty states and Puerto Rico, and is recognized as the authority in construction-related issues.
