AGC MI offers many specialized services that members can utilize to reach their goal of safety excellence. Members can take advantage of safety training services, safety networking, a safety lending library, safety products, and of course advice from the safety professional that is only a phone call or e-mail away to answer your safety concerns. In a contractor’s ‘promote and manage’ stage, we offer an AGC-MIOSHA Alliance. And to acknowledge and promote your safety success, AGC offers three safety award programs where a member contractor can be recognized for their excellence.
Safety Training Safety training at AGC of Michigan is available via many programs
Web-based Training: AGC’s online training, in collaboration with ClickSafety.com, includes a comprehensive library of courses covering construction safety and general industry topics. AGC members receive a 10% discount on all programs.
Michigan Construction Safety Training Day – This Annual AGC event provides a full-day of safety training, education and networking for your staff. Breakout sessions cover training for all levels of your company, including executive staff. The next MCSTD will be on March 14, 2019 at the Henry Center for Executive Development in Lansing, MI.

Michigan Outstanding Safety Performance Award – A statewide chapter program that recognizes AGC MI companies with the lowest injury incidence rates.
National AGC Safety Award – A national program that recognizes companies with the lowest injury incidence rates.
AGC-A Construction Safety Excellence Award – A national program that takes a comprehensive look at company safety programs.

AGC Michigan/MIOSHA Alliance Program – A cooperative program that promotes construction safety at selected jobsites as determined by the contractor. AGC contractors agree to promote project safety through a poster announcing enhanced safety efforts, posting safety staff names, and allowing MIOSHA to inspect the project and provide on-site training.
